    Latest "LOST" gossip :

'Lost' actor Daniel Dae Kim arrested

HONOLULU - Actor Daniel Dae Kim was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving early Thursday by Honolulu police — the fourth actor on ABC's "Lost" to run into trouble with the law while filming in Hawaii. Kim, who plays Korean tough guy Jin-Soo Kwon, was taken into custody before 3 a.m. local time and released after posting bail, police said.

A telephone message left with Kim's publicist after regular business hours was not immediately returned.

Other "Lost" stars facing problems with the police in Hawaii include Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros, whose characters were killed off in 2005 after they both were arrested and pleaded guilty to drunken driving.

Rodriguez, who played Ana Lucia, was sentenced to five days in jail and $357 in fines. Watros, who played Libby on the show, had her license suspended for 90 days and paid a $312 fine.

A year ago, Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje, the actor who played "Mr. Eko," was arrested for a traffic violation and accused of disobeying a police officer and driving without a license. The charges were dropped, but his character also was killed off.

Kim, 38, was born in Busan, South Korea, but grew up in Easton, Pa., and has a masters degree from New York University.

On the show, he portrayed a chauvinistic thug who at first was overly protective of his wife, but then began to warm up to other characters on the mysterious island where "Lost" is set.

The other three actors had their charcters killed off shortly after their run-ins with Hawii 5 0 .. so does this mean that Jin is about to get "lost" too ??

    Through the Looking Glass
    By LuluBates
    Season 3 | Episode 22 | Aired on 2007.05.23

Jack leaves Jin, Sayid, and Bernard on the beach to blow up the Others while he leads the rest of the survivors to the radio towers to try and signal Naomi's ship and start a rescue. Their trap goes awry when Jin misses his mark. All three are taken captive and used as collateral in Ben's mission to protect the Island.

The Losties, on their way to the radio tower, notice that there were only two explosions and know that something is wrong. Sawyer decides that he's going back to find out what happened, and Juliet offers to take him to a secret cache of guns, and she and Jack kiss as they part ways. Turns out there are no guns, though, and Sawyer and Juliet head off to deal with their karma issues unarmed.

Meanwhile, Charlie is being held captive by the Lovely Ladies of the Looking Glass Station. Desmond joins him when Mikhail is sent to the station and takes a slight detour to shoot the crap out Desmond's canoe.

In Otherworld, Ben is planning on heading off all 40 of the plane survivors by himself, but Alex invites herself along. Good thing he didn't bring the Others, because there is definitely dissension in the ranks. What with Locke missing, the away team dead, and the fact that Ben told everyone the Looking Glass was flooded and inoperable when in fact he was using it to block all transmissions off the Island, no one is happy with Ben's leadership. The lack of trust definitely rubs Mikhail the wrong way. You know what else rubs Mikhail the wrong way? The giant harpoon that Desmond shoots into him after Mikhail attacks the Ladies on Ben's order. The surviving Lady tells Charlie the code to avenge her own death. Inexplicably the code is keyed to the tune of Good Vibrations by the Beach Boys.

When Jack refuses to give Ben the satellite phone and give up their only hope of rescue, Ben tells Tom to kill Jin, Sayid, and Bernard. After the shots ring out, Jack promises revenge. But no revenge is necessary because Hurley and his Magic Bus run over the captors who had only pretended to kill the guys while deciding whether Ben had lost it. Hurley sends out a message letting everyone know that they won. Ben, now a captive, takes the opportunity to introduce Alex to her mother, Rousseau.

Despite the harpoon through the heart, Mikhail is not dead, and to prove it he throws a grenade at Charlie as he makes his escape. Charlie, who is busily making contact with Penny, saves Desmond's life by shutting himself in to the communications hatch. Before he drowns (yes, drowns, as in dead, as in ready for his return to the Big Screen) he manages to convey the message that Naomi is not who she seems.

Charlie's sacrifice paid off, though, and the jamming signal is turned off. Naomi manages to get a line to the outside world, but can't complete the call before Locke crawls from the grave to knife her. Yes, Locke is alive, and with a little assistance from Waaaaaalllltttt, he shows up just in time to protect the Island. Not to be dissuaded by a gun leveled at his head, Jack picks up the phone and, despite Ben and Locke's protestations, completes the call. The freighter crew says they can lock onto their position and the Losties cheer for the impending rescue.

Sprinkled throughout the episode have been flashbacks of a heavily bearded, drug addled, suicidal Jack slowly spiraling into a pit of self-destruction. In the last minutes of the show, it is revealed that these are not flashbacks, but rather glimpses of the future after the rescue. He meets up with Kate at the airport and tells her that he knows that they weren't meant to leave and they have to get back. She leaves him yelling to himself as planes take off overhead. I will just admit this now: I have no idea what is going on here. Damn season finales.

I've all ready forgotten. I hate how they are starting this so late, honestly I don't know if they're going to have the following since by that time we've all ready gotten new shows that we watch in that time frame. Their ratings all ready were going downhill last season b/c of them running reruns from Nov to Feb.

The reason they are starting later this year is to avoid the gap and having to show re-runs. THey had lots of complaints about the re-runs last year so ABC changed it up some. However I think this season will have more episodes than last even with the late start.

    Thumbs down

due to the writers strike they're saying that if it goes into this next year Lost may not be back til Fall of 2008 or Feb. of 2009. Nice... I all ready don't remember anything, if I continue watching I'm going to have to re-watch the episodes online, but if they don't bring it back for over a year.... ridiculous

If the strike extends into the new year and beyond, there is a chance ABC may opt to delay the new season until the fall. Or worse yet, February 2009. Another scenario has the network simply airing the eight episodes already in the can this February as originally planned — something Team Darlton would not be in favor of. Says Lost cocreator Carlton Cuse, "Damon [Lindelof] and my concern about running the [eight] episodes we will have made is that it will feel a little like reading half a Harry Potter novel, then having to put it down. There is a mini-cliff-hanger at the end of Episode 8, but it's like the end of an exciting book chapter; it's not the end of the novel. Damon and I didn't write [the ending of Episode 8] differently [with the looming strike in mind]. We wrote it to be the ending of Episode 8." In any case, he concedes that the decision to hold or air the episodes isn't ultimately theirs. "It's really [ABC honcho Steve MacPherson's] call," Cuse notes, adding, "No one was happy with the six-episode run last season."

OH HEAVENS NO! Last year I was *So* mad they didn't show re-runs of LOST. Due to the Cardinals' bein in the playoffs in '06, I didn't get to see a couple shows, Hubby just *had* to see his precious Cards win. I was hoping to catch them on re-runs, only to find none. ARG!

On the other hand, I fully support the strike.
