So... guess we know that

Charlie is dead, Lock isn't.

Kate and Jack knew each other (then why didn't they act like it before now?)

Any one know who died that Jack was all upset about?

Way to go Hurley!! I was excited for him.

hhmmm interesting point. I missed thought. But how did we know it was a forward. He did say something about going upstairs to get his dad and see if he was drunk or not, and his dad is dead.

I think Charlie may be dead. One thing I've learned from this show is someone isn't dead until you SEE them dead. Take Locke, for instance. Many thought he was dead after last week, but he proved that theory wrong. And it appeared that Ben commanded Ryan, Tom and the other guy to kill Sayeed, Bernard and Jin, but they didn't really follow through with it. You never know....

Near the end when he was meeting with Kate, he kept saying how they had to "go back" and shouldn't have left the island and how he kept flying on planes with the "golden ticket" (I'm assuming that was given to each survivor after they were rescued since their plane crashed) and hoping that the plane would crash.

True never count some one dead till we know for sure. Like the one eyed man, he has more lives than a cat.

Some one pointed out on another board that the coffin was small like a child or something. too small to be Ben or an adult...

Yes thats what I was thinking he met up w/ Kate after leaving the island..They were rescued..Someone died but he was the only one that went to the viewing( maybe Juliet)????
He wants to go back to the ISLAND!!

Other forums are saying it is Ben in the coffin and thats why Jack is the way he was and why he went He wished he had listened to him and not called for help. They are also saying they think that next season will be off island maybe with flashbacks of everyone of what happened as they got off and their life in the present???

I have seen Ben also. The paper that Jack is reading says
" Los Angeles...
Los Angeles man body found, drowned"

It may mean something it may have just been a prop. not sure.

Jack seems upset about leaving the island so something bad must have happened. he sure didn't get either girl in the end.

I don't think it was a flash forward... when it was over hubby and I discussed it and he thinks it's a flash forward... but how could it be a flash forward if his father is dead (he was bringing his body home on flight 815) but he tells the other doctor "Go upstairs and get my father and you can fire me if I am drunker than he is".

A friend of mine thinks this isn't the first time they've been to the island and they just don't remember it or that they knew each other... I don't know, I don't have an explanation... but if we are going on facts that we know, then we KNOW that Jacks father is dead... it was the reason he was in Australia, so I just don't think it was a flash forward.

That was the one part of the story that was throwing me. About his dad. My thought is maybe it's b/c he is addicted to drugs and alchol, he is obesses with trying to get back to the island and maybe that is messing w/ his head about his dad.

But he talks about using the golden ticket they got to fly every wknd. and that he wants to get back b/c they were never meant to leave in the first place.

What I think happened was off camera Ben called Ryan and told him his plan to shoot the ground. because when they flashed to the island Tom was running after Ryan saying that Ben isn't thinking straight we should have killed them instead of shooting into the ground when we had the chance etc. Cant remember his exact words but something like ben said to hit the ground instead of shooting them.
I loved when Sawyer came and shot Tom and said this is for taking the kid off the raft and Hurley says he surrendered and Sawyer says It looked like he wasn't or something like that I Love SAWYER!!!!!!!
