Things you find really really dumb in this world...........

Why are there wipes when you first go in the grocery store to wipe the handle of your cart off with, but the store does seem to forget that everyone handles everything else, don't they?
    I'm a Baha'i,ask me why.

    Good point.

But I'd have to say it's because a lot of times people let their babies put their mouths on the cart handles (ewww)....
and people sneeze into their hands and then touch the cart handle.....

and in one day, you probably have about 100 people touching that same cart as you....but when it comes to the food in the store, others are most likely touching it, and buying it.

I like that there are wipes for the shopping cart. I admit that it didn't bother me when my children were little. But, then I saw a report on the germs found on shopping carts and it totally grossed me out.

Drug part is in the back for the same reason milk & bread are usually in the back of the store. To get you to buy other stuff on your way to your actual purchase destination. Plus if you drag your germs throughout the store then they can sell more germ killers.

I always thought they put them in the back to make it a little tougher to hold up a store... if it's up front they don't have to worry about everyone in their way on the way out... I'm probably wrong but that's what I always thought.

I don't ever see people with their dogs in the grocery store. It's illegal here anyway. I don't see them sneaking with them in their purses either.

My daughter and I were shopping in our local Walmart about a week ago and some lady had a shopping cart filled to the top with groceries and had the kid seat open with a blanket and a little dog sitting right there helping her shop. I know by how much she had in that cart she had been in the store for awhile. I was shocked that they didn't say anything to her. I WISH THE NASTY LITTLE THING WOULD HAVE BEEN IN HER PURSE! He wasn't even clean looking either. Yuck!
I love my dog and yes he will occasionally go to the pet food store with me but the grocery store... NO WAY!
