I have to say, if given the choice I would prefer seeing my granddaughters face to face but the oldest lives 3 hours from me, the next in age used to live 3 hours away but are moving to TX this week....wayyyyy more than 3 hours away. The youngest I've only seen twice but that's because my son is in the Army and right now they're stationed in Germany. So I'm grateful for Facebook so that I can keep track a bit.

I should have known better to think that when I called Virgin Mobile Tech Support, that I'd actually be speaking to someone who spoke ENGLISH!!
Not only did he not speak it very well, but I'm pretty sure he was in some far off land like Pakistan or India. LOUSY CONNECTION!! I finally hung up after 10 mins.
Why have a recording say your business hours are from 4am PACIFIC TIME, if you're people are in another country??

Whenever I'm around my family....I always end up upset. I smile, say hello....yet I always come out as the villian.....somehow.... I don't mess with people's minds nor play games....perhaps that's the problem.....*sigh*

Next time you call someone and it is a foreigner like that, tell them you want to speak to english speaking person. I've done that already and they put me through to an American.

Click 2 for Spanish - when they answer ask them if they speak English. 99.9% of the time they do and are easier to understand than the one's in India.

''true that''..........do we say everything backwards now??
''first'' (when some moron is first to post a response to a question, usually in Facebook)
''fail/epic fail''
''true story''
''hater''
''baby daddy'' , ''baby momma'' , ''baby bump''. .....can we just get back to calling them ''mother and father''
''creeper''

I just need to blow off some steam! Thanks to the actions of my son's girlfriend/former girlfriend...I don't know which, I can not do it on facebook. Why does he not get her hacking into my facebook/email account was a big deal??? I am just happy that I had unlinked my professional accounts from my personal one a few days before.
My Mom is really starting to go downhill. She started calling me during the night to ask why it is dark outside. I had to call the doctor who ran some tests & now have nursing aides coming in 4 times a week.
My son got into a fender bender with my car.
My ulcer is flaring up really bad now. I am eating Tums like candy. I need to have my prescription meds which cost me $20 a pill however the doctor that prescribed this is on vacation as is my family doctor. I would normally say 'jsut shoot me now' only my son's g/f would say I was sucicidal.
Breathe in...breathe out...sigh!

Sunnie maybe we can get our moms as room mates at an assisted living facility. Mine is back in the hospital - they did surgery to clear out fluid build up (no infection thankfully). Now she has finally decided to tell the Dr's about the pain she is having in her right hip that started after she fell (which is why the hospital/rehab started to begin with). I would love to just shake the crap out of her and get the rest of her ailments out in the open - she loves to hide stuff. Drives me nuts.

Mine hides her medications so we never knew whether she was taking them correctly or not. I am thinking the NOT part since she had some meds that she had too many of while others she ran out of too soon. Now I have them in a weekly pill box that my son now has. The visiting nurses were so sure that Mom would follow the pill box instructions perfectly on her own...sigh...they don't know my Mom.
Today she wants to come swimming at my house...sigh...I will pick her up at 1 & she will expect dinner & be home by 3.
I am already exhausted & want to go to bed.
Sandy she would not do well in an assisted living place. She would carry on so much she would end up living medicated in the Shepards Wing. She would not last 2 months there.
My stomach is killing me. I had to go & do a quick clean because she will notice & I had to get rid of all goodies(by goodies I mean granola bars) because she will hide them in her pockets. I don't care what she takes but she sneaks them which is wrong...just ask me. She is supposed to be on a limited sugar diet.
