It's still raining here. It stops for awhile then starts up again. The sun poked through for a few minutes then 5 minutes later the wind, rain and hail started. It's been like that all day.
Friends of ours live in Mechanic Falls and Oxford. The kids go to Hebron Academy. I was up there not too long ago. We used to camp at Sebago when we were kids.

Still calm here..hope it stays that way..lol. We only got a short period of heavy rain, winds and thunder..then it stopped, and got light out again. My DD was going to go to Hebron Academy, but she couldn't leave her friend's so she decided not to, she does have one friend that she use to go to school with that goes there. My family has a camp at point sebego, usually we are there all summer..but the weather wasn't that great when summer first started then we have been gettting this crappy weather. I hate being at camp when it's raining.

I'm so sick of this weather !! I couldn't beleive it when they popped up the tornado thing untill 7. Looks like i'm staying home tonite with the cat to keep an eye on things.

Other than that, we didn't get much here (Northeast Pond area in york county) other than the downpours. Hope it stays that way

That's where we used to go! I loved point Sebago. We started out at Sebago Basin then moved "up" to Point Sebago because there was more for us kids there. They used to have paddle boats, shows and tons for us to do. At Sebago basin they only had the rec hall with a juke box. We were bored and would sneak up to the dam and drink beer, lol. Sebago was the first time I ever got drunk.

Yup Point Sebego has all kinds of things for the kids..shows, crafts, paddle boats, canoes, and now they have the teen center..always something for the kids to do. I think they are having a high school musical show this year, so that should be good!! Don't even get me started on drinking there...hahahaha OMG, thankfully my Mom was really cool about it..lmao....I am sooo happy my DD isn't into that stuff!!

Oh nooo, that's the areas my neices and nephew live. The neice that works in Sanford, ME. is terrified of tornadoes. She will never come to MN again in the summer because of our storms. Hope there is no damage.

I'm watching that now. They just said that there's one person dead. A lot of the seasonal cottages were flattened as well as year round homes. They're having trouble looking for people because of the downed trees and power lines. There are tons trapped inside their damaged homes. I'm about an hour from there and it was bad here but nothing like they got hit with.

Epsom, NH is more inland. It's about an hour from Portland. My parents live near Portland out at the ocean and it was mostly thunder, lightning, lots of rain and hail like here.
