That might be such a good idea since Wimzik is the girlfriend and she is the wife until they are divorced and the court papers are done.

that is a recipe for disaster.....i would never share vehicles like that. i don't think it would be all to easy to just go over there and take the van either. they are still married and have already made an agreement on the vehicle situation. i would say that you all need to get your own van and he should go ahead and get legally seperated if he's not already.

They are still married after all this time. What is up with that? Also, he can take it any time he wants to. Leave the car for her and take the van. Then switch back when you return. If she does not like it then sell the damn thing. He can do whatever he wants with it but be sure to get legal advice from your atate first. I would have to say it is time to make this separation legal and get divorced.

WOW!!!! No way should your bf have his name on a vehicle that both the EX & her bf drive. Wimmy....if his Ex or her bf were to have an accident your bf could be held liable. My advice is to get the van or get the van out of your bf's name ASAP.
    Good luck!

That's what I was going to say. He could be sued and his insurance could go up if there's an accident.

Thanks for the offer, believe me, the only thing stopping me from doing it is the fact that she is pregnant.

I guess it's hard to understand if you don't know the whole story but there are so many twists and turns and drama that it would take forever to tell it. I'll try to sum it up without writing a novel.
Chris and i met online over 3 years ago, we were just friends, we were both having problems in our marriages, when we first met, neither of us had any thoughts of ending our marriages we both felt strongly about our commitments. But over the course of a year, I was beginning to come to terms with the fact that my marriage was ending, and at one point he and his wife started going to marriage counseling. I want to make it very clear that our marital problems had nothing to do with our friendship, it was much more deep rooted than that.
My husband and I decided to separate, but we were still living together, I wanted to get my GED, get a job and my drivers license so that I could be financially able to take care of my kids. Meanwhile chris's wife ended up kicking him out of the house, and at that point we decided to meet in person. Long story short, We decided we wanted to be together, and the rest is history.
She blames me for breaking up their marriage, and she looks for any opportunity to cause problems or start a fight. but here is the twist in the story. Her 'step brother' (who she refuses to acknowledge as a step brother and insists he was a friend) lived with them during that year that their marriage began to go downhill, Chris kicked him out just a few days before she asked him(chris) to leave, less than a week later the step brother was back in the house, and only a few days later it was discovered that they were sleeping together, her explination after she was caught, was that they were just friends, and it just happened, um, ok.
They have been together ever since and are now having a baby together.

The reason She and chris are still married is because at one point they went to a mediator to settle the divorce, the papers were all drawn up but the mediator wanted $4000. to file them, neither of them had that kind of money available so it was put off.
Since she kicked him out, she kept possession of everything, the house, the van, everything they owned, it's all hers because she says so, and because she has it, and we have just accepted that because at this point we don't have any way to fight it.

I ended up with the car in my divorce settlement. I also got the payments. There is no way that I would let him drive it. That is CRAZY. Is it already paid off?

Oh Wimmy...girl I love ya but this situation is an awful mess. I am NOT being judgemental here OK....but as much as I hate to point this out, this is what happens when you begin a new relationship before the last one offically ends. I feel so sorry for his kids.

Your bf really REALLY needs to get that van out of his name BEFORE there is an accident.
