I think it's immoral to be judgemental, tell someone else they will go to hell, or try to make others live their lives based on religious beliefs they may or may not follow. Too bad those things aren't illegal.

But the Bible shouldn't have anything to do with the law. But where religion DOES have something to do with the law, those are the places where women get stoned for doing the same things I do everyday.

I keep bring up minorities and women being able to vote, because that is a valid example of how laws can be changed to be fair to everyone.

If it the were changed today, saying that you were no longer being given the benifit of marraige, would you just accept it and say nothing? I really hope not.

The whole "just accept it because it's the law, don't question the laws', reminds me of nazi Germany.

Gay people are still people, they deserve the same rights as other people. The same as you, me and the drug dealer on the corner have. Just like blacks and women are people and they deserved the rights they fought for & got (and way before they got them, too)

Then to to insinuate that others are immoral is also shame? She is doing nothing more than you have done. But it bothers most people more when it is directed at them.

How are you not getting respect? I've been very nice. We're having a discussion, I thought. I wasn't knocking your right to feel as you do.

I haven't even said "well, bless your heart........" yet.

Seriously tho, I think we're arguing 2 different things. I'm talking about our laws and you're talking about the Bible. I think every human being should have the same basic rights. You don't. Guess we'll have to leave it at that.

The bible is full of contradictions. If the bible said jump off cliff, would you do it cause the bible said so?

If "God" loves all his children equally, why in the hell would "God" shun his children who are homosexuals? If God create man and was against homosexuality why did he create homosexuals? It does say "God created all living things." It doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense. The bible to me is a poorly written fairytale, it's not based on proven facts.

People have the right to live their lives they way they see fit. No one has the right to tell another human being how they should live their lives because they read it's a sin out of a book.
Don't worry about what people think. They don't do it very often.

I totaly agree with tarasdream. Those that have not read the bible might believe that homosexuality is ok. But those of us that have read and do live by the bible know it is wrong. There was a reason a MAN and a WOMAN were made, we were put here to procreate and to teach. Two men or two women cannot procreate. It just doesnt work. I do not condone homosexuality. I do not judge those that are gay but In my opinion it is wrong. Do as you may but dont bring it in my house.

Because these people do not believe he created homosexuals, they believe they chose to be that way.
