As far as free services it is a known fact that public hospitals have to take care of anyone who comes into their hospital regardless of their ability to pay. The hospital worker continued to ask questions and many times received shrugs as answers. It was almost comical at one point when the employee asked for a phone number and the person shook their head meaning that they did not have a phone.......and then their cell phone rang. The hospital employee finally gave up and filled out the forms and let the person continue on to get their needs taken care of. Then it was my turn. All the forms got filled out and then I was pointed toward the cashier so that I could pay my co-pay. Sad commentary.

So if a public hospital has to take any one why didn't the other persen get help? So they turn down Americans but only take illegals?
The other person did get help but at a cost of $10000. Why? Because he happens to be a US citizen and has assets...for example: documented employment. He will have to pay this off in time. It is NOT free for him as it is for anyone who is here illegally. Now do you understand?
