Then you missed my point entirely!!! Yes, there can be tragic psychological repercussions...but I also personally know two women who had abortions who suffered no repercussions at all. As I said, it is a personal issue!
I also said that I would never tell another woman what choice she should make because it is a personal choice.
That is the same thing I thought, Kelsey. I always find it amusing when a MAN has so much to say about what and what not a woman should do with her body.

Many people view it simply as a compilation of many letters written by MAN. They do not view it, as we do, as written by man as inspired by God.
So...to keep hounding the point that you are quoting the Bible doesn't mean a tinker's dam to those who don't accept the Bible in it's entirety as God's Holy and indisputable Word.
Your arguments fall on deaf ears and only serve to inflame.
I agree! The thing I am trying to do is be a voice of dissent that causes real thought! MANY men will never stand up for their views on abortion because they dont want confrontation. My point is that I have MORE than just an opinion I have conviction based on the Word of God and if I can help even a few confused (weaker) Christians, to an honest evaluation of the scripture my job is done.
I fully understand that those who dont believe in God or the bible will not receive my words, see 1 Cor 2:14
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
But I still have a responsibility to share. If all have heard than none can say they were with excuse. And I dont have to explain to my Lord on the day of Judgement why I never told people that what they were doing was wrong (according to him).

Get over that the world is not just full of only 'Christians'. There are others who have beliefs different from ours, respect it.
If you are so against 'killing', how can you then justify yourself going to war? (I believe you admitted that you were in the service.)
There is obviously many different thoughts regarding the 'unborn' and what is 'justified' and not and that is what is in question. Not that Jeffrey Dahmer (sp??) was hungry and didn't want to go to Mc-y D's......don't get ridiculous.

Mrs Pepperpot is a lady who always copes with the tricky situations that she finds herself in....

I understood what you were saying. I just cant believe you are saying it. I think to satisfy moderates and non religious people that we MUST allow a choice in the case of SERIOUS risk to the mother that is verified by 2 doctors.
I still think its wrong and I and my wife would give it up to God and let him work his will. As a Christian I know what GOD has to say about right and wrong and I will follow it for myself and ENCOURAGE others to do so.
THIS PART IS JUST MY OPINION...I feel that any one who could have an abortion and feel NO discomfort or grief, is a callous unloving individual who can only think of themselves. JMO!

There is actually a HUGE distinction in the bible between killing and murder. Self defense, or in the public interest like for soldiers and Police is totally understandable and NECESSARY for the public good. But an abortion is only ever good (POSSIBLY*) for one person.
So yes I PROUDLY state that I served during time of war in the ARMY.. Thankfully, I never had to kill anyone. Though I would have had no difficulties dispatchingthe enemy in defense of my country and my own life.
*Due to medical complications and POSSIBLE psychological complaints, it is often NOT good for those who thought it would be the best thing they could do.

You do more than ENCOURAGE, you try to ram it down our throats. I'm a Christian also, so it's not just the 'unbelievers' who have a problem with your methods.

If your objection was to my saying what I would do if faced with such a choice....I never said that my choice should be anyone elses I only said what I and my wife would do.
We have had several discussions about all of our medical, burial and funeral wishes.

I am sorry but a CHRISTIAN who doesnt believe the Bible and NEVER says anything is wrong is no Christian.
I CANNOT ram anything down ANYONES throat on a forum...YOU have the choice whther you read my posts or not.
If I am so wrong, so terrible and so offensive PLEASE use your ignore button so I can have USEFUL conversations with others instead of spending my time constantly EXPLAINING myself to people who dislike me.

This is what I find shocking....According to you its NEVER ok to have an abortion and after this woman comes on here to tell her story, you suddenly "change your mind" WTF?? DO YOU EVER STOP?? You seriously are coming across as GOD ON EARTH...repulsive.
