Thread: Another Pit Bull Attack.

He wasnt punished the family didnt get justice the person who hit him also died at a later date GET IT

You know I just got some AWESOME news. Royal City, WA (one of my neighboring communities) PASSED the Pit Bull ban! They also banned Rottweilers and this includes any animal that may be in the car just passing through.

This is going to make it easier for me to get the ban in place in Moses Lake.

pitbulls are not the only animals (or dogs) that MIGHT eat their own young for whatever reason. a rat i had gave birth and ate her babies, in elementary school a hamster, some fish do, etc...

i think she meant by enticing people who want pitts for the wrong reasons to approach the undercover officer and bring it up. even with truly vicious dogs, most often they are calm around the owner(s), and tend to attack people who pass by or enter the peoperty they aren't familiar with, so the pitt would need to be growling and drooling on the street to attract a 'fight breeder'.

banning these dogs won't do any good, people will find another powerful breed and train it to fight if that's what they want to do. also, when the pitts are gone, another large & strong breed will become popular and take its place, and then we will here about attacks by those dogs. then everyone will fight to get those dogs banned, and if it gets through, people will find another breed ... it's going to turn into a cycle that can't be broken until every breed has been banned. i still say these bans are unfair, and people should be made to take special classes etc before being allowed to own a dog that powerful.

Ok first I dont know why yall are arguin with a person that cant even tell a pit bull from a boxer....oh and by the way the little rascals dog is an american bull dog NOT a pit bull. something noone has mentioned is alot of this garbage surrounding pit bulls is due to BAD BREEDING! these backyard breeders who have no concern for improving the breed only making a quick buck. i dont think ANY breed of any animal should be wiped out...it is the irresponsible breeding of these dogs creating most of these problems,there is a lot of inbreeding going on and the people that breed these dogs to fight breed for bad temperment/fighting instict. there are respectable breeders of these dogs that breed them to get mellow loveable house pets. if someone belives they are inherently evil dogs take a look at your own dog..guess what that dog came from? pit bulls are in the news so often because when people chose to own one they dont bother to do research! i guess nobody remembers when dalmations got over popular because of 101 dalmations? so many backyard breeders were going to make a quick buck and they werent worried about temperment...there were alot of dalmation attacks then...yes most of the time i belive its the HUMANS fault one way or another,the dog that finally snaps from being tied to a tree with no socialization,the dog that snaps from being tormented,the dog that snaps from being teased. and no that little girl should NOT have been playing near that dogs chain...it is sad that she has to deal with it but a HUMAN should have known better than to let the kids be running around this dog...chances are he was already excited about them playing around him..specially if he was a family pet...do you people honestly think that dog had a coherent thought in his head to maul that little girl? how exactlly do dogs play with each other????? yes i do belive that due to bad breeding there are bad dogs. and the people that posted it are right pitts will be banned and amstaffs and american bulldogs will be used..and when they get banned they will use rotties and mastifs and then dogs that everyone thinks are great family pets like labs and retrevers...ANY dog can be bred to be mean...you take the worst possible temperments and breed them together...im so SICK of animals paying the price for human screw ups...when you have a kid and he turns out to not be the angel you hoped would you kill it? a few months ago we had a tiger get out of his cage at the zoo in tampa...due to HUMAN error that gorgeous cat had to be killed...i agree that the breeding and selling of pitts should be HIGHLY regulated and to adopt one from the shelter here along with shepards,rotties and mastiffs you have to go through a mandatory home check...i just dont get the people that are followers and say yes ban this dog and they dont even know what one looks like? comments like "if it walks like a pit and looks like a pit" i think you need to look into researching just how many dogs are descendent of pit bulls...not that it will change the pit haters minds....it will only be a matter of time untill their breed is on the ban lists too...
