Here is the news story which I am apalled by ... but that poor little baby! She had less than a fifty percent chance of surviving ... she is doing somewhat better now .... this just really disgusts me!
INFANT IN SERIOUS CONDITION
IN 911 CALL, MAN SAYS HE FOUND DAUGHTER FACEDOWN IN 7 INCHES OF BATH WATER
Gina Mace, Special to the Beacon Journal
An 8-month-old Norton infant who authorities say was left alone for several minutes in a tub Monday is listed in serious condition at Akron Children's Hospital.
Norton police Tuesday released the 911 call from Samuel McClure, 25, the father of Miah Underwood, asking for help after he said he discovered his daughter.
McClure made the call from the family's Reimer Road duplex at 3:57 p.m.
The call was received by the Medina County sheriff's dispatchers, who routed it to Norton dispatcher Dawne Casseday.
McClure's can be heard sobbing as he pleads for help from the dispatcher.
During the four-minute call, McClure told Casseday he found the bath seat tipped over and his daughter facedown in the water.
A neighbor of McClure's was performing CPR by the time McClure made the emergency call. McClure told Casseday his daughter had been underwater for at least three minutes. Casseday asked if Miah was making any noise.
"She's not moving," McClure told the dispatcher. "She's not making any noise at all. They got some fluid out of her lungs, but she's not breathing."
McClure grew more agitated as he waited for the ambulance to arrive.
"Oh, my God," McClure said. "She's so limp. I can't live. She's so limp. She's not breathing. Please, baby, please. She's still the same way that I found her.
"She took a breath. Oh, my God."
Investigators said McClure was bathing Miah when he heard a knock at the front door and left the baby in an infant bath seat in the bathtub. The tub was filled with about seven inches of water.
After answering the door, signing for the delivery of stereo equipment and opening the boxes, he went back upstairs, McClure told police.
According to a report of the incident, 16 minutes passed between the time McClure signed for the packages and the call for help was made.
Officers investigating the accident confiscated a half pound of marijuana, a scale and a drug-smoking device from a room next to the bathroom.
The case is still under investigation, Norton police Lt. Thad Hete said.

Re: Prayers needed
Rosina told me about this today and I have chills reading the story.
I can't say anything right now because I am having bad thoughts on Sam .. but I will keep Breanne and her baby in my thoughts and prayers.

Re: Prayers needed
What kills me is they barely or never serve jail time. My parents were close with neighbors. Their grandaughters boyfriend was babysitting his daughter. He claimed the child was choking on food. He claimed he smacked the child to stop it from choking. I didn't believe the story he concocted. Child died not from choking on food but from him smacking it. I almost died when I heard she was pregnant again with the same jerk.

Breanne is pregnant right now by this jerk. I feel so bad for her and continue to pray for her and the baby.
