Thread: Everywhere I go lately....

My garbage pickup company always forgets to come pick up my recycling. I am the only house that has a driveway on my street so my garbage & recycling is out front instaed of the alley because I have no access to the alley.

They remember to get the garbage but not the recyclables. Every week i have to call and complain.

I think I can help you with this problem.
The garbage men would come by for my recycables, but would spill them all over the street. So, I would pick them up and put them in my garbage can in a plastic bag. For awhile I would just put them in with the garbage. Then after awhile I would test them, if they spilled again, I would just keep putting them in the garbage.
They did this with the green yard trash too. They would just leave it laying for weeks, so I put it in the garbage.

It probably wouldn't hurt to call them and tell everytime they "forgot". but at least it wouldn't be in front of your house.

And not only the restaurants get it wrong, the hospital where my husband stayed for 23 days couldn't even get his name right. They had to change it to file for insurance after he came home and they started sending us bills.

I have to check the bills carefully every month to be sure the telephone, electricity, water company does their bookkeeping correct, and also the doctor's offices. It's bad all over...

That's so frustrating! Almost as frustrating as when you're involved in one of the exchanges on one of the forums and your partner sends you a box of nasty used crap that has to be thrown in the trash. And then, once called out a billion times, the your partner finally agrees to make things right, but then never really does. And then she shows up on the forums again acting all sweet and hoping everyone will forget. Things like that suck, too.
