Thread: Baby with Astma

Hey Everyone,

My friend just came down and talked to me. He told me that his 1 year old son is in the hospital he had a astma attack and he also has amonia(i know that's not how you spell it). He is in the Childrens ICU. I was just wondering if you all could pray for this little boy. He has been in the hosptial for 3 days now.

I will certainly pray for him! If you would post his first name I will put him on our prayer list at church. My best friend has a son with asthma, they just bought him a chiauau dog (sp?). They heard they will take the asthma from the child. I have NO idea if that is true but they are going to give it a shot.

my son was 9 months old when he was diganosed with the same thing he is now on home breathing machines and must be very careful. he has 20 hospital stays since then he is now 7

I have had asthma since I was 3 and my son has it and was in the hospital with pneumonia when he was under 3 a few times so I know how it feels. Have your friend have the child checked for whats called strongoloids(which are parasites that can cause asthma) I know this from a lung specialist.he tested me and told me why he was testing me and that parasites can cause asthma as well as it can be inherited.also if I were them Id have them check his heart my MIL thought she was having asthma attacks years ago and the 4th DR that checked her out did tests on her heart and it was her heart and was getting fluid in her lungs.she was told she had pneumonia as well.and it kept happening til that one dr found out what was wrong.and as for a dog taking away asthma I dont see HOW thats possible since its a lung problem and some people with asthma also have allergies to animal dander than can trigger their asthma.as well as weather,certain cleaners,certain meds,colds,flus,viruses,some asthma is brought on by exercise,exhertion,stress,etc the list goes on and on.but I do hope they find out whats wrong with the child and he gets better soon.

Tripp(the little boy) he was dignosed with astma only couple mths after he was born. He has been in the hosptial for so many times. He always seems to come out alright.

Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to give you all an update on this little boy Tripp. He was realased from the hospital yesterday. He has to have a breathing treatment everyday. That little boy is boucing back really quick. I feel bad for him when I went to go see him. He had brusies on his arms from the nurses trying to give him an IV in his little arms. He was playing all around like nothing ever happen. I just hope he stays out of the hosptial for while now and don't have anymore problems. Thanks for everyone that prayed for him
