Would you leave this seller negative feedback?
I paid her $21.80 the day I won the item. I waited 8 days and emailed her requesting a tracking #.
No response.....
I email her again requesting tracking # 10 days later....
She replied this:
hi sent it out today, sorry my hubby is coming home from being deployed so ive been busy.
i will send you tracking number tomm am as it is in my purse downstairs...thanks and i assure you it is on the way and you will be happy.
thank you so much
jenn
I emailed her back last night (3 days later) saying this:
You know, you said you would send a tracking # the next day. And I've yet to get that either. I've waited for over half a month now for this item. It was to be a special gift for my mom's 60th birthday party, which was yesterday. I had nothing to give her. How would you like being treated this way. How would you like to go into a store and buy something but they wouldn't let you have it for weeks and weeks after you paid? You shouldn't be selling on eBay if you can't be a dependable seller. $21.80 might not be much money for you, but it's a whole lot of money for me. I'm sure if the roles were reversed you wouldn't appreciate being treated this way either.
It finally arrives today. It's a figurine and is so dirty that it has cobwebs on it! Which cobwebs weren't mentioned as a extra in the auction......
I don't like to leave people neg feedback...but I just feel like she so deserves it.....she already left me positive feedback so I don't have to worry there....so what would you do?

Re: Would you leave this seller negative feedback?
I would perhaps go with a neutral feed back, not great with communications and shipping was majorly slow. Item not as described...
I am sorry it took so long and then you were unhappy.

Re: Would you leave this seller negative feedback?
Can you clean off the cobwebs? If so, go neutral. If it is true that dh was coming home from deployment...then I would understand why she was busy! I would probably be too!

Re: Would you leave this seller negative feedback?
I was just in there trying to clean it off. It was scummy dirty as well. I ended up having to use fantastic on it to get the scum off it. While I was cleaning it, I found 3 damaged spots on it. I looked at the photo and it was like that before she shipped it out. She just didn't say anything about it in the wording.
I'm so aggravated right now.....this is a collectors piece, and it's worthless now.
I was considering just leaving a neutral, but that just made me so mad when I seen the damaged area's that were hard to spot in the photo. I left her a neg.
Thanks anyway guys.

You could always file with ebay that the item was not as described.

Re: Would you leave this seller negative feedback?
i would definatley leave a negative feedback and file for a refund with paypal, no doubt. i mean, come on.....i can be forgiving with one problem especially with her hubby iraq deal, but not only was it slow to ship but it was also dirty and tattered.
There is always someone bigger and badder than you!

Re: Would you leave this seller negative feedback?
Oh man! It gets even worse! My husband got home and I was telling him what happened and he was looking over everything and he seen that she had also listed this item as CONDITION NEW!
I think I will file a claim with paypal now for sure. Thanks for reminding me of that option.
NEW ! => ISO LIST! please L@@K and see if you have something I need.

Re: Would you leave this seller negative feedback?
Funny how she wasn't to busy to describe it, take a picture of it and put it up for auction, only to busy to ship. If her husband is being deployed then she should have thought of that before she listed it. It may sound mean but thats the way I see it. Not only would I leave negative but I would also ask for my $$$ back. Good Luck!!!

Re: Would you leave this seller negative feedback?
It amazes me at the excuses people come up with when they are late in shipping something or sending payment.
My all time favorite I had to deal with was a buyer who never paid or contacted me until I filed a non paying bidder on her, the next day she pays and gives me some sob story about how her lung collapsed and how she was in ICU for 2 weeks.
I am always skeptical so I did a search of the auctions she bid on and won, she won a total of (and I kid you not) 132 auctions during her "hospital stay".
Needless to say she got a negative from me and I mentioned her 132 winnings in the feedback to let her know I didn't buy her story. I figured why email her on it, just let everyone know

Re: Would you leave this seller negative feedback?
I would file a claim with paypal AND ebay, item recieved not as described, ETC. If it has been more then 30 days after you have sent paypal it is already too late
