    The puppy is cute...

but now we have ANOTHER one and my house smells like "dog" so bad, I can't stand it!

Yes, its petty, but I am very anal about the house and I am about to die lol

Awww! I'm so darn jealous of you! I have wanted another puppy OR kitty for the longest time but just can't right now since my best friend owns the house and doesn't want another animal. well... lol j/k. I'm hoping he will change his mind and let me get another dog later this summer. I would adore a cat but he can be allergic to them and I don't want him suffering and I've decided upon an italian greyhound. I just don't think there could ever be too many puppies or kitties in my house. But I have to say, I've noticed that my friend's house reaks of dog really bad, she has two big ones. We have two small dogs and I don't smell it anywhere near hers. But ours don't shed and I'm sure that helps a lot. Yeah no shedding doggies. You'll have to post pics of the new baby.

does anyone know if stores like Petsmart or Petco sell anything you can spray on your dog to get rid of that smell? i know i cant use Lysol (lol), but there has to be something! i leave my dog outside for an hour to 'air out' and when she comes in, she smells worse than when i first let her out!

If you go to a place like service master, you can but their orodor go!! It will kick the pet smell right out. You dont have to use it a carpet machine- just mix it in a water bottle and spray.

I don't know of any actual odor neutralizer... but I do know they sell 'CK9' for dogs... smells JUST like 'CK1' for humans, but it's only like 8 dollars... it lasts a pretty good while too... my groomer sends my dog home w/ it... I thought "how stupid" the first time she did it, buying perfume for a dog... but it's hot here and even goin outside to potty for a few minutes and he stinks... lol... so I don't complain when he comes home smellin good.

I don't have a dog so I am not much help. I did see this though but not sure if it helps or not. Maybe it would work on a dry dog.

The funny thing is that we have a ozone machine and it gets rid of ALL odors.. except for dog, apparently LOL

Our sugar gliders smell too, but since we got the machine, I never smell them. It may just be me too, I am overly sensitive to smells. PLUS it rained yesterday and the dogs were wet (even more smelly) .... I am just not a dog person.. or did I already say that? LOL

I buy that foam stuff that you spray on your carpets. Its smells sooo good and I use it even when I don't have any animals. lol I believe its carpet fresh, or something like that. It shows and cat & dog on the can and you don't even have to vacuum it up. You can just spray it down to make the house smell nice and fresh.

I done a search and found a link to it. Its on the wd40 website! LOL

I use the one in the blue can. HTH!

My mother has two Yorkshire Terriers and she bathes them once a week. When you walk into her house you would never know that she has dogs. I don't know how often you bathe yours but maybe bathing them more will help. I'm like you when it comes to the house being clean so I know what you mean. It would bother me too. lol
