Amazing how some people are so quick to judge before pulling down the mirror and looking in it at themselves.......

I guess you haven't seen "rude." I wasn't being "rude." I was simply stating my opinion of what I HAVE SEEN over the years from people on webboards. When you read threads where people whine because their posts count is lower. You kind of get the impression, they have no lives.
So, you think I care, how many posts you have or don't have? I careless, if your life is fulfilling or not. Why tell me? Are you trying to justify yourself?
Try not to take everything you read as being "rude." Everyone has an opinion whether you agree with it or not. It's just an opinion - No need for you to scream "rude" when you don't like what someone says.

Re: concern about the number of post
I'm having to post just so I can see my count, lol.
I think I've been with BBS since April of 2000 and the last time I looked, I hadn't made a thousand, yet.
Posts basically tell others who have a life & who don't. =) A lot of people have nothing worthy to worry about in their lives, other than how many posts they can make on a site. {shrug** It's the impression I have gotten over the past 6-7 yrs. I have been online.
This works both ways. Just because a person doesn't have a whole mess of posts, doesn't mean they have a life, either. I have about 7 hours a day (during the school year) to myself and being online that I could be spending here posting. Some people are talkers or just friendly. I always try to be friendly but I'm real shy so I just post or reply when something said makes me want to.
As for "padding" a count, this makes no sense to me. I've seen it done on other boards where the same people will reply with a smilie or an "lol" and then leave. I'm talking about the people that do it over and over. I haven't seen that ever happen here. I just don't see the purpose.
Post count isn't a status meter.
ok, so it's only been since 2001 but still...

No I surely don't agree with you because I don't think you can judge someone's quality of life by how much they post. I post 2-3 times a day. Usually around the same time. I read BBS once a day usually, twice sometimes if I can't sleep and I'm up really late.
I never said you cared how many posts I had, I just felt that you think you're better than other people because you don't post as much as others. Oh and I've seen rude before because I've seen you post before.
And no I wasn't justifying myself. I don't think less than an hour online calls for justification.
