No even vasectomy's are fool proof..there have been guys who have impregnanted woman after having one. The only fool proof birth control methods are abstinence, and hysterectomys.
I think unless you KNOW for a fact that these people weren't using birth control, you shouldn't be making accustions about it.
Also IMO even if "most" people know about their situation it is illegal for your friend to talk about their personal life with you, or tell you intimate details of their life.
I do agree with you there. The people might not have any business PURPOSELY making more kids, but things do happen.

Going to church does not make one perfect, nor do most people I know who DO go to church think they ARE perfect. We all are sinners, and make mistakes.
And aren't some of us JUDGING the OP? She never said EVERYONE who gets foodstamps and benefits was able to work and doesn't, yet a few people jumped her butt and insinuated that she DID say that. Among other things. She is entitled to her opinion and it is better, or so I thought, to vent here.

just wanted to add that in most if not all states now you do not get "WELFARE" per person(ie having more kids to get more)

I wasnt jumping on OP, it just ticks me off that people say that people on welfare shouldnt have kids... In my case, I have no choice but to be on welfare, but I am not going to let the person that shot me and took my life away from me, take the right away from me to have children. Yes, there are people out there that do cheat the state to get more money. I am not one of them.

Denise, she meant the ones who are in a situation where they CAN help themselves. Not situations like yours.

Ok this comment flips me out. I am not jealous. I have a child I work and work alot I had a person walk up to me after i had my DD and told me to stop having kids he couldnt afford it. My hubby was making 40.000 a year I threw my insurance card in his face and a pay stub and informed him i was paying for my own kid. I am not jealous but i get pissed when i see people popping out kids getting ANFC section 8 paid to go to school free babysitter while they are at school or work. What do i have to be jealous over? Mad yes it angers me to see this happening. I can say i work to support myself and my child

Who said anything about being perfect? But why is it her business as to what those people are doing with their personal life? If they were her friends or family I could see it, but it sounds like they are not. Yes, she is entitled to her opinion, but so is everyone else and in MY opinion it seemed to me like she was judging them because they were having another baby ,yada yada yada. When what they do is really none of her business they weren't offering their personal business to her she was inquiring about them with her friend. And how does she know they they weren't using birth control was she in the room with them ? Or did she ask her friend about it when they were gossiping about these people? Again...JMO
