I have only taken pics at WalMart 2 times. The 1st time, no prob, but it was 2 years ago too when the Walmarts opened up in our area. This last time, the "set" of pics they always offer on special, i ordered that, and all of my small pics had "arge" in the top left had corner. I took the pics back the day i picked them up and oh you will have to retake these. ummm no i am not. I did not want to deal with them again, they are the "cheapest" but their quality is poor. you can always tell that you have wal mart pics. I will stick with JCPenneys or Sears. Higher quality and better service.

I got the pictures on disk as well instead of the portrait package because that picture looked so bad. The girl said I would be able to print out pics on my printer (which is high qaulity because I scrapbook on the computer)and use them as screensavers. Four of the seven pictures are horrible and you can't take them out of the picture parades which makes that feature useless to me. The only size you can print out is about an inch square that goes with their sticker paper. But you have to print a whole sheet of the same pics on the same design. Theere is NO flexibility in their software at all and was, in my opinion, a ripoff. I just decided to write that off as a learning experience though.

The manager is supposed to call this morning and tell me what she has found out. I guess I'll wait a little longer before I call again.

I will never go to another Wal-Mart portrait studio.I may pay more to get them done at Sears but the pictures atleast turn out nice. Also,it seems there is nothing but morons(atleast in my area)who can't or won't do their jobs at Wal-Mart.Sorry if you work in the portrait studio at Wal-Mart but i have had one to many problems with them.

I used to love wal-mart's portrait studio but now, I'm so done with them! The last two times were so bad. They printed the wrong Christmas picture! Her eyes were half closed and her arms were up... I was so mad. This was about a week before Christmas so I wouldn't have more time to get new pictures for the Christmas card... and I'm telling the lady how mad I am.. and she gives me a coupon for a free 8x10! All my pictures are ruined but I can come get a free 8x10.

They lost my pictures once too... I tried to pick them up the day before Valentine's Day because it was my gift to my daughter's father and they didn't have them. I sat there for about half an hour waiting while she looked but didn't find them so she told me she'd call and see what happened then call me tomorrow. So, she calls and tells me they forget to send my roll in! So... now, I'm done with their pictures. I hope they find your pictures though! Goodluck...

One of my girls just recently had a daddy hand supporting his 4 month old, and when she took her first shot, he just let go and got up and headed to the monitor to see the pictures, the baby fell face first off the table. I mean honestly, would you set your baby on your kitchen table and walk off,,,I think not. If he wasn't sitting up on his own,,,you knew it for sure, why weren't you holding him up? Granted, if she saw it happen she should have in some way commented about it, but why should she have given a discount for you not 'supporting' your child in sitting up.

Just to add, she shouldn't be looking at you strange when you're by your child during your portrait session,,,she should be insisting on it.

I'm really, honestly and truely not snapping, but, our children's safety is OUR responsibility.

As for the OP, DEMAND your money back and head over to Sears,,,

Well for one thing it was my first child, and the first time getting pics done. She wouldnt let me hold him cause my hand/arm would be in the picture. Now with my last child for her first christmas pics they let me put my hand under the blanket and hold on to her back that way, I wanted to do something like that with the first time but she wouldnt let me.

Just to clear it up, she wouldnt let me support him, her reason I would be in the shot.

I wasnt saying that she was looking at me strange, I was saying that since then when I get pics of the kids done they look at me strange cause I wont move from beside the thing they sit on.

    Just an update--

I called the studio this morning to find out when the manager would be in so I could go get the refund. (I had lost my receipt and finally found it last night.) The manager answered the phone and said she was about to call fed ex to see when the pics would arrive. Evidentally the whole roll got lost and finally found again. I asked her to call back and she did about a half hour later. The Fed Ex man had just delivered them. 10 days late but at least I get them. I'll be off to Sears in the future.
