Thread: Update(Female Issues)

They were able to get me in today-doc has major surgery going for tomorrow.
I have adhesions that are connected to the ovary, and polyps in the uterus. They will have to do a laparoscopy to see everything that needs done, cutting the adhesions away, probably taking out the uterus and I told him while I will be open-might as well tie the tubes.
Bad news-no sex, no walking, no "strength or endurance" activites, oh and I love this one...(NOT! )"Try to limit arousal"..yeah, ok.
Good news-surgery will be about 3 hours, one night over night. About two weeks recovery all together I think that is what he said.
I have to take a med to thicken my blood and get the rest of the Kolonopin out of my system. I see him again in 2 weeks. Surgery is scheduled for the first week in July (after the 4th and before nmy birthday).
I am still worried about the hormone therapy, if I need everything out. But like the doc said-that would come sooner or later anyway. Never thought of it that way.
