I was explaining to my husband that Gretchen & Denise Richards have the same facial disease that makes them constantly frown, even when they are smiling, they have a frown.
I went to pull up a pic to show him & I found this... I am still laughing! CHeers!!!

I have watched this show since it started, and she is my least fav contestant. I did not feel one bit sorry for her when she said she had lost everything, blah blah blah. I figure what comes around goes around. I hope it come back to bite her in the butt the way she treated Michael.

For all of you Michael fans:

Looks like he is doing just fine. He has stated several times that Gretchen was always supportive of him.
Y'all know I'm a skinny-minnie & to be honest Gretchen's were the only clothes I would be able to wear without any major construction changes.
I loved Mondo's polka-dot gown but it would have to be made much shorter to wear.
Mondo & Andy's clothes really read junior department & I think Gretchen won because of that.

And she constantly questioned why his garments would win.
However, that being said...she did seem to change her attitude as the show progressed. Mondo also stated that he was one of Michael's detractors in the beginning, but definitely changed his mind after working with him on the one project. Maybe Gretchen realized Michael's worth as well.
Never argue with an idiot. It will bring you down to his level and he’ll win because of experience.

No F'in Way!
I call SHENANIGANS!!!!
I wouldn't be caught dead in anything that Gretchen put out.
Backless coats, backless shirts & was there 3 diaper looks, really.. where are you going to wear that?!?! And they had the nerve to call that Ready-to-Wear. Yuck! And her styling still sucked, every model had on that hidious hot-pink lipstick., well I guess its better than the lipstick Gretchen usually wears, that burnt-orange should never be put on a blonde.
Mondo could have done more Mondo looks, mixing more prints & color blocking.
And to think they gave Michael so much sh!t last week for having similar colors, what were Andy's colors, gray, darker gray & green?!?.
I think Andy had the best as far as Ready-to-Wear.
I'm outraged at the finale, as are 99.9% of the Project Runway message people.
And I love that Ivy called Gretchen out for being who she really is, which is a big ol' FAKE!!! Yeah, she may have been all hugs & kisses to Michael to his face, but we all saw what she said beind his back! Even when it was down to the final 5, she was still talking sh!t about him.
I can't say I won't watch again, because I love Michael Kors & Tim Gunn, but if this season is anything like the next season, I can't say that I won't be watching the entire season.

As for Gretchen, you could've gone in some one's closet back in 1970 and borrowed anything.
Wished Mondo won, could do more mixing/matching with his, and Heidi agreed, and he wasn't a very happy camper when she congratulated Gretchen either, and sad when she auf'd Mondo.

Have you guys never read Vogue? 70's fashions are HOT right now. Project Runway was about producing ready-to-wear adult clothes which separates are essentials of ready-to-wear. Have you ever seen Michael Kors line? Andy & Mondo made terrific junior ready-to-wear. Some of their clothes were awesome but but really weren't what PR was all about. Even I, a size 2, would never wear Andy's bathing suit.

How are diapers a part-of ready to wear?
I own a few Michael Kors pieces and none of those are diapers. The Michael Kors clothes I own, I can wear year after year, season after season. There is a huge difference between runway clothes & actual ready-to-wear clothes that they'll sell at Macy's, Dillard's, etc.. Most buyers from major department stores would never buy Gretchens line, because it won't sell, expecially in this economy., People are buying pieces that they will be able to wear year after year, season after season and jungle print back-less shirts with high-water pants are not something you will wear next year, even if the 70s are hot this season.
I have seen every season of Project Runway. And this is the first where I'm at a total loss. Every designer that has won has not done a line that is strictly "IN" this season, they've done a collection that can be worn in any season or at least year after year.
