i think it is really good, even my dh has gotten into it, lol, and i usually cant tear him away from CSI or Law and Order but even he said that at 8:30 tonight the tv will be turned to animal planet. Of course he knows better than to come between me and my meerkats, lol.

You can watch clips of the second season on animal planet and a preview of this years season. The first season was really good, at the end we were left wondering if brave little shakespeare had survived the attack from the lazurli(spelling) he was babysitting the babies at home when the rival clan showed up, sadly at the beginning of season 2 we learned that he had not been seen since that day. I saw the creator of the show on foxnews and he said that they had stopped recording for a period and never got the whole story on film and they regret that, from that season on they have taped non-stop instead so that way if something happens to one of the meerkats they will hopefully catch it on camera and not leave viewers hanging with unfinished questions.

Shakespear was my favorite meerkat and my heart is still sad he is gone he was the most brave and caring, but since then its been great to watch Flowers new pups be born and come out of the den into the new world and they are so cute when they are learning all their lessons on how to get food and help clean out the den etc. When they stand on their hind legs and then topple over is just hilarious.

You should watch a show or two and see for yourself, im hooked.

I have the DVR set for it won't be home tonight. I took the kids last yr. to one of those free family films and they showed a clip of it and we hooked ever since. They are so cute and facinating!

My DD is at her Dad's tonight, so she will probably watch it there. She loves that show.

I just saw previews for this the other day, but haven't seen it. I would cry if I watched any of them being attacked. I know that is how the wild is, but still I don't want to see it, especially to animals who are just so darn cute!
