Thanks Giving
With everything so busy with the holidays coming up ... let us take time to remember what is important. I challenge BBS members to write ONE thing EACH day of November that they are thankful for in their life.
I went to a therapist once who had me write down three things I was thankful for each night before going to bed ... just before turning out the lights ... to address issues of depression ... to focus on positives instead of negatives. ( See - I'm only asking for ONE ) It can be big things ( I won the lotto ! ) or small ( green light when I was rushing - a pretty flower next to the sidewalk ) It can be grand ( the love of my life ) or simple ( the smell of fresh ground coffee )
Anyone want to join me ?Laissez les bon temps rouler!
Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.** a 4 day work week & sex slaves ~ I say Tyt for PRESIDENT!

I am thankful that my husband was willing to go with a screaming band of teenagers to a Haunted House tonight ... and I got to stay home with peace and quiet.
Laissez les bon temps rouler! Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.** a 4 day work week & sex slaves ~ I say Tyt for PRESIDENT! Not to be taken internally, literally or seriously ....Suki ebaynni IS THAT BETTER ?

I am thankful my son got a 98 on his differential equations test that he studied so hard for. We couldn't believe he just took the test today and the professor already posted the scores online.

I am thankful that my 24 year old son waited until he was sober before coming home last night - safely.

Tonight was our "Date Night" ... youngest on a camp out ... older two had Homecoming Dance. Our plans changed and we ended up driving six teenagers to their dinner and then to the dance. Thankful that our kids have such great friends to spend their time with

Thankful for "Daylight Savings Time" and an extra hour of sleep

I am thankful we had a good turnout at church with visitors. I am also thankful we can freely worship God at church. In other countries people are being killed for their belief in God.
