Anyone here know what a sce test is?

I found that page but thought it was written in code or something LOL. Thought maybe someone could put it in English.
As close as I can figure its some kind of DNA test. Why would they be doing that on my sister? She has been seeing this Dr for spurs in her neck. He has been giving her injections and the surgeon said No on surgery. She is freaking out right now trying to figure out what the heck this test was ordered for. I told her I thought it was just a blood test, so that helped her some. Of course the nurse that called had no answers for her. She goes in the morning for it. I told her to make them explain what and why before anything is done.

Thank-goodness She hasn't seen that site. She is already a basket of nerves, let alone see the word cancer jump off the page. I'm not going to say anything about that page to her. And hopefully that nurse doesn't say anything if that is what they are checking. Let the Doc do his test and go from there.
