Thread: Question about Propane

Hi Everybody,

Just wondering if people would post how much they are paying for their propane? Not the kind you get for your grill but the kind you use to heat your home in a big tank like a 500 or 1000 gallon tank. The reason I'm asking is because of how much my price went up since August. We bought some in August and it cost $2.14 a gallon. So at the end of January I called and was told it now cost $4.24 a gallon. After pleading and crying and begging the manager they dropped the price to $3.13 a gallon. That's still a 50% increase. So I went online to check if this increase was legal and found out that propane is the only thing that is not regulated by the government like electicity and sewage and water is regulated. So I guess the propane companies can charge what ever they want. I wonder if there is someone I could write to. Thanks for reading this.
