I don't work outside the home so no that hasn't happened to me. But when my kids were young I woke up thinking it was a school day, ran down to my sons room and said we overslept you have to get up for school. He looks at me and says mom it's Sat. then turned over and went back to sleep.

Yeah, I guess it was... except we're night owls and I hadn't gone to bed yet, so for me it was still Saturday. It is now 4:50 and I have just been up for about 20 minutes. So it is NOW Sunday morning for me.

I lost my job on Tuesday and when my dh woke me at 6:40 on Wednesday I freaked out. Took me about 5 minutes to calm down and realize I wouldn't be late for work

Thanks jersybarb. I was too, initially, and am still kind of in shock about it a little bit. But all the friends I worked with tell me they were treating me like crap and when it came down to actually hiring me, they didn't want to pay anyone more than base salary.

In any case, I think it'll be a while before I don't jump out of bed 15 or 20 minutes later than normal and thing "OMG I'm gonna be late!"

But when I worked I worked most Saturdays and on those rare Saturdays I didn't work I always snapped awake thinking I needed to get my butt up and ready.
