Thread: I now have time to level up all my games on FB!

Yeah, I'm trying to make light of being unemployed for the second time in less than 13 months. Its been a long, sorry road! I really thought this was "the place"! I've been a temp there for 10 months, as of yesterday. I really liked my job, and besides my immediate lead being a little bit bipolar and making me a little insane, I never once wished I didn't work there. Three weeks ago they decided to hire a permanent clerk for my job, and they specifically requested I apply. I knew there was a chance that I wouldn't get the job, corporate rules dictate all jobs be posted for the public, but hey, after 10 months I figured I'd have a pretty good shot. There were 78 applicants, 5 were hired for other positions, 2 were hired for my job. Needless to say, I was not hired. And today I was let go. I left the building with an escort, crying my eyes out like a little whiny baby and now I am totally baffled about what I'm going to do next.

On the up side, I knew that job in and out, everyone came to me for information, including the leads and supervisor and I even trained two of the highest people in the building what to do to help out when were were head over heels busy. I hope they miss me!
