Natural supplements
Does anyone take any? I am just curious
I have been taking green tea pills (hate drinking the stuff) on and off for a couple years, right now I am 'on' again
I have also been taking oat bran pills for my cholesterol (on top of a script) and I just started taking fish oil
And if you do take any do you notice any differences/benefits in whatever it is your taking?
The oat bran and the script dropped my cholesterol to normal levels. With just the script it was still a bit high. The fish oil is supposed to help mood, triglycerides, PMS and a couple other things I can't remember. I don't think it was memory lol

Be careful to buy supplements only from trusted sourses and follow the directions to the "T" as it is medicine. If you are on any other drugs, make sure to talk to your herbilist and your doctor to make sure there are no interactions. Hope this helps

I did talk to my doc before I started taking any of that stuff. But getting an herbalist may be a good idea too. Thanks
My sister takes prenatal vitamins for anemia too.. iron pills do not agree with her stomach
*TMI alert*
The fish oil pills are nasty when you burp. It tastes like the ocean died in my mouth.. I cannot say that too much today omgz!

there are alot of herbalistic/holistic doctors out there, you just have to look for them.mine is 20 miles from me ,but thats okay
yes herbs are like meds that doctors give out,so they can interfere with meds from your md,always, always check to make sure that any meds or herbs dont counter-react to each other.
i myself prefer a herb that is natural,to all the meds some doctors give out/not saying docs or meds given by docs are bad, just saying i prefer a natural healing.

I take Magnesium and Vitamin D for the bones and the Vitamin D helps with my immune system and it helps keep my cholesterol low. Also living in New England most of us are Vit D lacking and I have had less colds since taking it.
