A ? for mommies
My sis in law just lost her mucus plug and her doc said prob 7 to 10 days. She's not due until May 2nd. Is that time line correct? Or could it still be awhile???

Maybe I am getting forgetful in my old age lol.I thought losing your mucus plug meant labor was starting?

DS was born the next morning.
Oh I remember something about not taking a bath either. Showers are ok but not bath's. Something about possible infections.Last edited by meltodd69; 03-19-2009 at 08:08 PM.

I was told and also read you can lose it up to a month before going into labor.I dont remember losing mine or when it happened.
Its to early for her to have the baby.I hope she doesnt go into labor anytime soon.

I know!!! As excited as I am, cause I just know it's gonna be a girl, I also want her to be healthy. The stinkers decided not to find out!! I have a nephew, my avatar, that was 2 in Jan and I am soooooooooo excited. The best thing is, that I babysit every Wednesday so I get a lot of quality time.

Is she sure it was the mucous plug?? sometimes women can get a lot of discharge and think its the mucous plug.
also I have heard that after you lose it you should probably not take baths.

Shell, remember when I was prego with Rach, I lost it and it "replinshed" itself and grew back, ewwwww......
Itcould be anytime, or she could have a while. If labor doesn't start within like a day of losing it, it could start to grow back..
