    I Love the Full Moon!

Bathed in silver light, out under the starry country sky...makes me wanna dance!

I love full moons, half moons, slivers of a moon....where we live you can look up and see a million stars and with the full moon it is even more beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing. I also love sunsets, especially over the water

Full moons are awesome .. but there were some crazies at Outback tonite .. let me tell you!
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Distance and time may separate us but friendship and memories won't.

When I was in Hawaii at each sunset everyone would come to a stand still and just watch the sun go down. Taking pictures as well. Not sure if the populace does it each day but the tourists sure do.

It's probably the same with the sunrise but I'm up until late. I don't do mornings. LOL

That is how it is on the west coast of Florida. And yes many of the people who live there go to the beach to watch the sun drop into the water. Also on the east coast there are people who go to the beach to watch the sun come up but not as many as the night show.

When I was a child, no air cond, we would lie out in the back yard on Daddy's old scratchy green wool army blanket and watch the sky. Daddy would point out the different stars. And the whole family would talk. Sometimes neighbors, adults or children would come with their blankets and join us. There are so many wonderful things happening today but there are somethings that were so wonderful then too. We have to give up stuff as we get new stuff. This is something though that we didn't have to give up. I am so spoiled with air cond that I have forgotten how wonderful that was. Yes we were bothered by the scratchy blanket, the mosquitos and other pest yet we loved it. I think this may be something I will try with my grandchildren next time they are here.
But we will have a nicer blanket and off. When my grandchildren lived in NC, there dad would build a fire outside at night in the winter and we would all gather around. The children don't remember that.

In Austin, TX there is a popular restaurant near a lake that is know for its celebration of sunsets. There are several outdoor decks where people sit with their drinks; music is played as the sun is setting, and often it gets a standing ovation. How fun is that?

I would love to be on an island with a SEXY man under a full moon with no one else for miles around. No worries with money. This island would have all the food we need clean water a great home electic would be free nothing would cost us anything. I would have a computer with free internet. Okay yeah I am dreaming but it would be nice right?
