Spoke to her again last night and the airline put them up in a very nice hotel (Westin). Also gave them funds for dinner, breakfast and lunch for today. I sure hope they get a good night's sleep b/c all those hours at LAX today (followed by a 14 hr flight) is gonna be hell! She's most disappointed in the whole schedule now being off by a day and having to miss the zoo. She also told me that the hotel where she will be on Sunday has internet service so maybe she can pop in and say "hi". Keep up the good thoughts! Thanks.

Thanks for the update that she is staying in a great hotel that includes all meals. The kidlettes will really like that. Sorry about the missed zoo visit but I'm sure they will see some animals there that are native to Aussie.

sorry to hear about the troubles they are having. Glad tho they were put up in a nice hotel w/meals. She's looked so forward to this trip for so long its a shame things got off to a rocky start.......hopefully all will go smooth from here on

I hate to hear that her trip was delayed, but you never know... She could have been kept out of some kind of accident by being delayed.

It's aggravating sometimes to have things go wrong and change our plans, but I've learned several times later that during my delay there was a bad accident on the path I would have been traveling or something like that.... so now, I try not to complain when something messes up my plans.

I hope the rest of their vacation goes great for them.
