I doesn't matter to me. As long as it isn't between 2pm-3pm, when As the World Turns is on. I am up from 6am to about 11pm, then I read my book in bed til about 12am.

If it rings past 11pm I usually panic and think something is wrong.

After 9 A.M., my brother (in CA.) calls between 8:30 and 9. Then don't want calls from 7-9 P.M., that is my TV time. I call my brother at 9 P.M. and there is usually an hour gone by.

Most calls can be handled between 9 am and 9 pm

My family never calls to early but hubbys family is another story.

I have wkends off & hubbys family always seems to call early around 8am.

Hubby sometimes works on his book at night & sleepd during the day. His mother will call 2-3 times while he is trying to sleep. He gets so annoyed.

So I say not before 10 am.

It's just a matter of being considerate I think.

Weekends included, we are up and moving by 6 am. We have dogs to walk, etc... I will answer the phone at any hour though due to having family with health issues and a 17 year old! I do get NASTY when it's one of my kids "sperm donors" though and it is a "drunk dial" because thats disrespectful to my husband and our family.

The alarm is set for 6 a.m. weekdays. DH has to get up then but I only sleep 3 to 4 hours so I'm already awake. I have too many aches and pains most of the time to sleep longer. Weekends, I'm always up before him. I'm happy if I get 20 hours of sleep a week. UGH!!!

NO PHONE CALLS BEFORE NOON AND NONE AFTER 9:00 PM

Aggie learned the hard way. While we were dating he called at some awful time in the morning. He rear was chewed to no end. He's never forgotten it, either. He will tell anyone not to call before noon.

Family without hesitation knows not to call before noon. If the phone rings before then I know it's a sales call. If it's family they'll call Aggie's business phone.

Aggie is a day person and I'm a night person. I don't go to bed til around 3:00.

In 7 years of marriage our house phone has only rang 3 times after 9:00. Ex-sil went into labor and when my mother passed away.

I have the same respect for others. Unless they say call them at a certain time I won't/don't think about calling anyone til afternoon. I wouldn't dare call anyone after 9:00 pm

I'd rather not get calls til after 7.30, then I have a good hour to hour & 1/2 to have coffee and wake up lol If my phone rings after 9pm I dont like it at all (as someone else said, my dh hates it when the phone rings ANYTIME). We've been having telemarketers and donation seekers calling between 8 and 10 in the evening & that really frosts me. I say a few choice words and hang up lol

I don't like calls before noon and shut my house phone off until then. My DH works nights and he doesn't want the phone waking him up. I keep my cell phone on 24/7 if it is my kids or family that need me they know that they can call anytime. I don't care how late a call is. I am up to 3AM.
