Thread: s/o on guns

i have 2 loaded guns in the house. i also have 2 children......ages 9 and 13. we always lock our bedroom door and have taught them all the dangers about guns and forbid them to ever touch them. but i'm also not naive.........just because you tell a child don't touch don't mean they aren't. we have ours hidden and our bedroom locked but still..........it worries me.

I have a gun. I also grew up with them & was rasied at the shooting range & learned gun safty. But I was always taught don't let other people know you have guns, don't brag about how many guns you have. It just opens you up for awhole lotta mess when all kinds of people know your business.
So, next time I know a convict in PA, that needs some guns, I'll be sure to send'em your way, your infomation is easy to find, heck I can look at your trailer right now on googleEARTH.

so now ur tellin me that ur stalking my freakin home on the internet???? now threating to send a convict to my house is really messed up.. thats not even cool i aint said **** to you. and as for bragging no it was a simple conversation big difference..... so if ur lookin at my home what is in the big thing in the front yard? and third how did you get my addy when we never even traded or sold anything to each other? isnt that invading my privacy?

and i own my home so no im not moving for anyone. i dont feel unsafe in my home i have the right to carry no matter where i go, aslong as it isnt posted no firearms.........

so we know how many other memebers have guns to but you chose to pick me out of the whole thread and google my home and threaten me with convicts???? why wth is your problem?

Bragging about how many guns you have is about as stupid as me making a thread saying how I don't trust banks & that me & DH keep all our money under the mattress.....

ok first---- i know my son isnt going to kill his family
ok second- there are alot of ppl on here in this thread and others that stated what and how many they have...
ok third--- no the money isnt under the mattress...
ok fourth-- i dont talk about half the **** in my life and what i say isnt anything that i would hide from anyone.

ok and maybe ur right about anyone could find out the info but that goes for any of us.... i do know that if there were someone creepin at my house i do feel sorry for them

I completely understand what you mean. I grew up in a house FULL of guns as a child and we were only allowed to bring certain friends into our home simply because my dad didnt want anyone to know where they could come and steal a bunch of guns.......Kind of like saying I just cashed my income tax check and left the cash in my UNlocked car sort of thing

But it's the same with anything. Some people post on here if they get a new piece of jewelry or a new PC etc. Anything really, that they like or collect. So saying how many and what kind of guns you have is no different, IMO. People will break in if they know you have jewelry/electronics also.

And I know I wasn't 'bragging' when I posted what I have, I just like to discuss guns and like knowing the kinds others have or want. Just like we do here for cars, PC and jewelry, just to name a few.

ETA ~ That most people around here wouldn't want to go to the trouble of breaking into my house, knowing I have an alarm and guns and that my guns are registered and traceable. Because they can buy a throw-away on the corner for 25.00.

hey just so you know I have a house that very much needs to be cleaned at the moment and I have a ton of food in the freezer.........hopefully that means someone will come over
