Gosh, haven't camped in years -- sure brings back great memories. Girl Scouts -- once in platform tents at a Girl Scout camp (plumbing in restrooms/showers nearby), once with canvas tents and dug-out latrines in a different park, more primitive. Lakeside camping with drama group in assorted tents (chaparoned, and one bathroom in the cabin on the property). State campground (with plumbing) in southwest Texas with college girlfriends in a large lightweight nylon tent with screens during Spring Break. On the beach at Port Aransas with my now-husband (then boyfriend) with a Coleman campstove and heavy canvas tent with floor for almost a week; we also did some camping on our honeymoon, which included putting up our hammocks for almost three weeks just down from the ruins at Tulum in the Yucatan.

I'd probably do it again :-)

I am not a tent kind of person. doesnt sound fun at all. Now a camper or motorhome sounds ok. I just can't get past the sleeping on the ground with bugs and stuff. Eww not me.
