Thread: Anyone even have a April Fool's trick go wrong...

Oh my gosh I just did.

I called dh at work. Well I know he was in a meeting, so I left a message to please call me when he got out of the meeting...

His meeting usually last till about 9 a.m. It was 11, and still no call. I called at 12. He asked what I was doing. He knew that I was off today. In the mean time you can hear my son in the background, banging stuff around.
He was like who is that. I said it was my son. He then asks again what I was doing, I said "well things haven't been the greatest here, so I am packing".

OMG................. He hung up on me.

I never got to say April Fools....

So I keep calling his phone and he puts me right to voice mail. And HOUR later he finally answers, (he sounds completely depressed) And was like what do you want.....

Only to tell you April Fools... He was like are you serious? Duh, He's like that was a good one. I believed it... Still sounding depressed.
He's like I should be home at 230. He is never home before 4 -430. So I am not sure if he believes me that it was only a April Fools prank or not.

I think next year I'll stick with the I'm pregnant one.........

Yea, I did today too! And I got hung up on also by the DH...maybe this is why I usually steer away from April 1st

LOL That would go over about as well as an atomic bomb here right now.....

My husband would be happy right now if I said that - we had a fight last night and he's been angry for all weekend *sigh*

Thats funny, but look at the bright side, at least he didn't start celebrating. That would really be krappy.

Yikes! You'd better make it up to him tonight; you know, sweet words, a massage, some of his favorite things. . .

LMAO - I wasn't about to pull an april fools joke on my b/f. He'd probably flip his wig.
