A Savannah cat is part serval part and part domestic housecat. The females are more expensive because they are fertile from the 1st generation on but the males are sterile until the 5th generation on.This is because of hybrid inviability due to them being hybrids...Haldane's rule. Some breeders claim that their Savannah cats are part serval and part African leopard, the only way to know is with DNA. But those breeders will charge more than breeders not making the same claim.
A dog is not almost human , I know of no greater insult to a canine than to describe it as such.

Hell no not even if it was small. Not a dog either. I'd send all my family on a cruise and have the house to myself to party..................

Only if I could saddle it and ride it to work and had a guarantee it would last 20 years.

trust me I don't hav ethe money but about 7 years ago, right after I filed for divorce, I found out that my sweet little tigger (age 7) was diabetic. So, after just telling my daughter that her father was going, I coouldn't tell her that the cat was going as well...so, for the last 7 years there have been insulin and pills - many emergency room visits and hospital stays (diabetic coma) and probably have paod close to that amount - but he is the sweetst most lovable thing in the whole world and I would do it for the next 100 years if I could.
But if i win the lottery - I'm getting one of those!
