I got a promotion at work after only being there 6 wks!
Woohooo!
As some may know I'm working at my 2 daughters school. I started there about 6 wks ago. I was helping serve middle & high school,filling vending machines & running the dish washer.
Today I started training to run the salad bar & serve on the elementary side. So no more dish pan hands......LOL!
No extra money but a step up & a few extra hrs a week!
My youngest is happy now that I'll be serving on her side....LOL!

Congrats! Something similiar happened to me last year. I started at a new school district as the protein cook, also helped serve and did dishes. My manager decided to move and I got her job! And even the manager has to do some dishes at my school, but like you, Pepsi, I'm glad I don't have to wash them all the time. Glad your daughter is excited about you serving on her side. Enjoy your new job!

Congrats!!! its a great feeling when you get promoted.
As for your hands you should try neutragena concentrated hand cream...this stuff works wonders! Its a bit pricey but it does work.
