You're probably at the hospital Shirl but I was just wondering how things went with the surgery. Please update us when you can.

Thanks too all of you for the prayers and warm thoughts
Surgery lasted longer then expected but he is ok. He now has three screws in his right hand. A partial cast and a splint. He goes back for a check up in 10 days and gets the hand x-rayed. If the first operation didn't work, if things don't fuse like they should he will have to have another operation. I sure hope the first one works. He has pain meds so he is doing ok. Will be off work for 6 weeks. We left the house yesterday at 9.15AM and got home at 6.30PM. Had my father-in-law with me all day because he had a doctors appointment. Then my daughter dropped my grandson off to me at the hospital because she had to go to Honolulu until Sunday. There was an accident on the way home so traffic was backed up. Remember we only have a two lane road on the island. I thought yesterday would never end! Then had to get up at 6.30AM to take my grandson to school. So now I have three guys to take care of
I'm so tired, but that is life. Once again thanks to all of you for the prayers. You guys are the greatest
Kyla Kym, thanks for thinking about sending him cards. That was so sweet but it was same day surgery.

Thanks for the update Shirl and glad everything went reasonably well. Paryers for quick healing for his hand! You are going to be a busy lady for a bit. Hugs.

You might need a break when he is better. lol. I am so glad it went well. I had to have a joint fused in my pinkie a few years ago. They took the pins out too soon, so had to to it again. Glad all is well
