depends on how high up the back damage is, it would have to be pretty high up since the nerves go from your back out to your hands

Yes, I think it can. According to my chiropractor, the nerves in your back/spine are connected to other parts of your body...including your arms and hands.

The back would have to be out or pinching a nerve high up as was stated. Between the shoulder blades and a bit higher is the region for your arm and fingers. The low back only has bearing on your legs etc. I know too because I have had 3 back surgeries..lol

Yeah I know it does it to your legs cause my left leg has been numb since all this started. I get these horrible sharp stabbing pains in my foot all the time too.

My fingers were like this when I woke up the other day and have stayed that way, I dont go back to the doctor til the 28th so I thought I'd ask to see if I need in sooner.

My disc is in my lower back, but I have pain between my shoulder blades and neck at times

I would ask your doctor. Maybe you are having problems with your upper back now. I have an inverted disc in my lower back and it can cause me to not be able to stand straight up, especially when I get up in the morning. It also messes with my legs, feet and ankles. There have been times that I have almost fallen because my legs give out. I haven't wanted to do the whole surgery thing and those things don't happen too often so when it starts acting up I usually just take a muscle relaxer. I've had back problems ever since I had my first c-section so I think it's from the spinal they did.
