That's what I was gonna say! By the time we got married we already had my son and could barely pay the bills.

Oh my goodness i'm blushing!... lol... We didn't have a honeymoon either and i have been waiting over 30 years! I'm just about to give up waiting

Never actually had a honeymoon. did spend the night at a local motel...of course my hubby was given some moonshine my sister brought from Kentucky so he passed out as soon as we got there.
and no, I will NOT let him forget it.

Well we are still on our honeymoon.
But the night of the wedding we went to Dahlongeha, Ga. and rented a cabin in the mountain, either for the week or the weekend (can't remember which.) There was no tv or telephones in the cabins. It was beautiful, quite and romantic.The more you complain, the longer God makes you live.

I had a wonderful honeymoon. Spent our first night at a local bed & breakfast. He even carried me over the threshold.
Got up the next day and ate at the place, went to Mass and then headed out for Eureka Springs, AK. Check it out www.eurekasprings.com We stayed here one night

Stayed there in a bed & breakfast for most of the week. Shopped and sightseeing. Ony thing was I was on crutches since I broke my ankle two days before the wedding. So we rented a wheelchair and he pushed it or I got up and used my crutches to go into shops. Eureka Springs is all up and down hills so it wasn't easy.
Then went to Branson, MO to check out a motel his family was going to have a family reunion at the next month. Beautiful country. I hated to come home, he took such good care of me during that time. I loved it. Wish it had gone on forever.Last edited by janelle; 06-20-2007 at 01:07 PM.
