What kind of wedding did you have?

I know some people have really big weddings and some just run off to get married.

Our's was very simple & small.
Took place at my SIL's house, I did have a wedding dress, flowers, cake, 1 maid of honor, a preacher, and my colors where purple. My dad gave me away. We had a photographer, and ended up with only 10 blurry 8X10's.

What was your wedding or weddings

like?

And if you haven't never been married yet, what do you expect your wedding is going to be like?

We got married in a beautiful little chapel in Helen, Ga. My 2 boys gave me away...hehe. My mom was there, my MIL, and my dh best friend and wife.

We got married in Reno Nevada at the park wedding chapel. It was just us, i was wearing one of those horrid polyester 70's mini dresses, it was blue and white. The photographer and his assistant were our witnesses and the preacher was drunk.We went to mickey d's for our wedding supper.

We went to a NASCAR race in Telladega Alabama and got married while we were down there - we planned on it but didn't tell anyone except the other couple that was going down with us.....
we got married in a little gazebo outside the hotel we stayed at - afterwards we went back to our hotel room and called all our families back here in NY...

Kevin and I got married in the mayor's office at city hall. LOL It was just me and him. We didn't need witnesses. Afterwards we went out for Chinese food with his mom and the kids.

church wedding with priest callin hubby wrong name until we said our vows then he got it right so in all the pics i am laughing..... reception a small club up the road and close friends and family but had to leave early cz my lil boy got sick

First one was very traditional.....white dress, over 100 guests all that mess. Nice memories if I cared to remember lol

2nd one was VERY small only a hand full of close friends and family. We tech. got married in a church BUT the church is not in use it was built to be part of a "mini" old town in DeQueen (I think they actually call it "the little white church in the pines" lol

Here's a ? about non first marriages??? do you wear white??? I know I didn't but I know my ex's new wife wore a real wedding gown (all white) and it was her 3rd marriage lol

John and I also got married at City Hall , our son , my sister in law and her husband were our witnesses. We went to Arbys afterwards. NOt that we couldnt afford a wedding just that I had waited over 4 years after this man asked me to marry him for him to finaly say, when do you want to set a date. That was on a friday, by the next monday at 1pm we were married...

I was not going to wait any longer. LOL

We had a traditional wedding in a church and had a big reception (500 people). Had a really good time, wouldn't change anything about it.

we had gotten our license about 28 days before we woke one Fri morning, remembering that the darn license was about to be expired, so we headed down to the court house & got married. Just us & the judge. We've been married 3 yrs this past May...
