Thread: Green Beans

Of all things, I cannot cook green beans. Mine always turn out tough and chewy. Does anybody know how to cook "fresh" green beans to make them crisp and crunchy? Do you pan saute them? microwave? steam??? I have no clue, but I am tired of throwing away green beans. I know it's got to be the length of time I am cooking them.
