Question Does anyone have People PC as an isp?

I've been looking to switch isp's, but don't really know which one would be best. We live in a small town and don't have a whole lot of choices. I got an e-mail from mypoints today and I can get 5000 points for joining people pc. They finally have an access number in my area. It is still dial-up. I really wanted something that would free up my phone line, but this is a pretty good price. I was wondering if anyone has this and if you can tell me anything good/bad about it. Thanks.

I am also in a small town with no other option than dail-up. I have used peoplepc for about 2 years know and have never had any problems.

We also have really old phones lines so I can't connect any faster than about 26.4 but with the accelerator I still do what I want....most of the time...just not video's ect.

I've used Peoplepc for over a year. It's very dependable and inexpensive. It's not fast. As for freeing up the phone, do you have a cell? I do and I pay 30 cents a month to Qwest for call forwarding when busy. If someone calls when I'm online, it just goes to my cell phone. No missed calls and the cell has caller ID for free, too.
