Thread: having a nervous breakdown

My daughter got her drivers license monday, her high school prom is tomorrow and she wants to drive my blazer to and from the prom. She has never driven a vehicle without me or hubby with her. the prom is only 10 miles from our house but I am totally worrying myself to death afraid something will happen to her. I know I am overly protective but, I need good vibes prayers or whatever to get me through this time in her life.I was afraid to get my license until I was 26 and I sure did not want her to do that. She has had alot of experience driving the drivers ed car and she has driven our blazer I am just being a psychotic parent I guess. I know some of you have already been through this with your children. I would appreciate any post to ease my mind i know I got to give her a chance but I guess she is always going to be my baby (only child).
