Bigbig overworked Mom
Need help with wording PLEASE...
Coming very soon in the states of Georgia there are going to be some significant changes to the Peachacre for Kids Program and the Medicaid Program. Peachacre has the same benefits; except families pay a monthly premiun for the coverage. The premium amount is based on household income. I spoke with Peachare today, while most of the questions I asked were not answered a few were that really scared me. All classes of Georgia Medicaid will go into a PPO/HMO administration. My daughter had a heart transplant 10 years ago. According to the Peachare rep. I spoke with today, at the very least Peachcare will no longer allow my daughter to see her pediatrician. Her pediatrician was doing his Cardiac Fellowship at the hospital my daughter was transplanted at and asked to watch her transplant, which we gave him not knowing he would ever be close enough to be her pediatrician. They will also have the right to deny payment to the only doctors and hospital in the state that performs and treats children with transplants.
I am trying to transfer to a full time position so I can get her health insurance through my employment. I am not eligible as a part time employee.
I need some of the very smart people out there to help me word what to say on my transfer slip because I am not happy with anything I have written in the last 3 hours, any help would be greatly appreciated, including constructive criticism.
I need a better way to say...I have the ability to perform clerical duties that enhance patient care delivery, improve work flow, and ensure adequate documentation. The scheduling clerk work cooperatively with the medical staff, physician's office personnel, and other hospital staff who support care of patients.Computer literate in Window based programs required. Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have a commitment to customer service, and communicate effectively with all applicable age groups. Candidate must also possess a sense of responsiblity
while taking the initiative and be honest.
The above is an abridged version of the job description. I am able to meet all requirements of the job, but for the life of my, words are eluding me and I desperatley need to be a full time employee with the option of adding my family to health insurance. Are one out there kjnd hearted enough to help me? PLEASE!!!!

Re: Need help with wording PLEASE...
You should look into getting your child approved and signed up or crippled childrens....(childrens special health care services)if they are on that they cannot be forced onto an HMO and they pay for all services not covered by medicaid.

Re: Need help with wording PLEASE...
You also need to check with your medicaid provider for any appeal processes in case these changes do occur. Even if you get private insurance coverage, your dauther has a pre-existing condition and will have a "waiting" period before the insurance will pay for any medical care having to do with her heart condition. There is also that possibility that they may never cover her heart condition.
Good luck with your job switch.
