Zabasearch.com is the site I use to find people. It is temporarily unavailable tonight but is usually ok this is a maintenance thing I believe. Hope you find him.

mrs. defosset is the school councelor, you should be able to call the school and ask for her, tell her that you have joint custody, offer to fax her proof(if you don't have a fax machine a library or bank should have one) tell her you are desperatly trying to find him...i use to voluntere for a school and i know they are required by law to take action if they see custody papers. also a call to the child protection agency in that area would be needed after you find him-she may actualy do this for you if you ask, they should have the athority to make sure they can't take off. than you need to go back to court, demand full custody on the grounds of parental abduction. also ask for supervised only visitation from your ex on the grounds of possible abduction. if you have been routinely making reports to the proper athorities about your situation than you will win..and he could even be brought up on charges, it is not legal for him to not notify you of change of address under joint custody arangements..i believe he even has to do this with in so many days..depending on state, and in some cases is not allowed to do so if the move places him at too far a distance unless the move was job related,or you agreed to the move, or he was still able to have the same arrangements regardless of the move.

Isn't this an abduction case, why can't you just call the FBI and have him picked up? Calling the school might alert the father it is time to move again and you might never find him again.
Ignorance is bliss but the question is can we afford it?

Wow thats incredible that you've found him. I wouldn't alert anyone just yet because the father could take off. I would get down there and get the police on your side. Then you can go to the school with the custody papers in hand and get your son back. Good luck, I hope everything goes well, you must be so excited!

I agree - You have proof that you have legal custody of your son. Take all papers to the local police department and they should be able to help you out. They know how to handle this type of stuff. Good luck to you!

I am happy you found your son and all...but if you have legal custody of him why aren't you on the next plane out or in the car right now on your way there with your papers in hand to take him back? The police will assist you in any way possible. I also have a concern about this information your posting about your son. You are giving his full name, what town and school he is attending...and now your offering his licence number. Hon, your setting this kid up for some sicko to either steal his identity or worse. I know we tend to trust people on these boards, but we do not TRULY know them for the most part. I am so glad your sharing such wonderful new with us, but please use caution so no one gets hurt. I wish you all the luck getting your son back and many blessings of safe keeping to you and your son.
