    Help!

I just found out that DD needs braces...$4000 worth. My credit is terrible, is there anywhere that I can get a loan for this? Do certain orthodontists offer 'in house' financing? Is there anywhere that someone like me, with bad credit, can get a loan that big? Should I just start going through the phone book looking for another ortho that offers better financing? The office offered to run my credit and see if I could get financed but my credit is really bad, should I let them do it? Doesn't that go on your credit report too?

Both of my boys have braces and I pay monthly payments to the orthodontist.

Well the office does offer financing but they want to check my credit first. If it looks iffy they said they have other places to suggest. I know that they will take one look at it and probably not even consider financing. Now I feel like a heel because my mistakes are affecting my daughter.
