i need a little comp help

my screensaver dosnt come up i have it that it would come on in 2 min but it still isnt coming up

help

i am running windows ME

Did you check to make sure it didn't somehow get changed to none for a screen saver?

i just was playing with it and it is set
un less there is a different spot for screensavers that it would not come up

That's the only thing I can think of but I'm not computer person either. The only way I know to get to the screen saver things is to go to your desk top and right click on it. Then when the pane comes up go Properties then the screen saver tab. Maybe someone else will have some ideas.

i just restored my comp too and it stii wont come up i thought that would fix it

i have xp but it should be the same way...

start button...
when the things come up ( i forgot the terms.. too much cold meds for me)
click on control panel
in that window click on display
then in that window click on screen saver...

then you are there!

Sorry I can't really help you. I went and searched around and one thing I saw was to make sure all your drivers are installed. So you might make sure they are. I don't know how to do that. My hubby takes care of all that for me.

i have my screensaver on but it just dosnt want to come up

i purchaced my comp before windows xp came out and my screensaver worked before

the only thing i can think of is that maybe the file for the screensaver was thrown away... or if you have a firewall your firewall wont let it run....
is it a new screensaver? one you never used b4 or a screensave you have used?
i ask only because certain things run in window 200 and others for xp...

lastly you might be missing a dll file...
