Re: Hellooooo Beautiful Plus Size Ladies!
back in the day when i was plus sized i shopped at avenue. i didn't like lane bryant because they were way to expensive (i saw a shirt there that i really really liked at it was $50
) and catherines has what looks like clothes a middle aged woman would wear, i of course was in my early 20's. fashion bug's clothes fell apart way too easily.

I try and get what I can at Walmart but you are aware there is not much of a selection. I do use layne bryant. and another catalog but I can't remember the name and I just did house cleaning and they are all gone for now.

I get a lot of stuff at Lane Bryant. They are expensive but the clothes are high quality and they are stylish. I buy all of my jeans there. I get the flared or boot cut Venezia jeans. I also get some things at Fashion Bug but the quality doesn't seem to be as good as the clothes you would get at Lane Bryant and they seem to run small so I usually have to go up a size when I shop there.

I love Lane Bryant, but have to agree - they are expensive. But it is hard to find trendy stuff in my size anywhere else. Newport News has cute stuff in plus sizes, and they have great prices. I have gotten a few items from them that are a little uncomfortable though. (Pinchy waistband etc) FYI their sizes run big. I get to order a size smaller!!

Re: Hellooooo Beautiful Plus Size Ladies!
I ebay alot for my clothes. I love Ralph Lauren and it fits me so I buy off of ebay. Big on Batik makes beautiful clothes. I have a couple of their dresses that I bought on sale. If I were bigger in the bust I would buy more but being flat chested doesn't always work with their dresses. And I go to TJ Maxx and Ross for the rest. I can usually pick up great bargains. For basics, I go to L L Bean. Their clothes are priced right and never, ever go out of style.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.

I agree with mistressB on this one. Avenue is great!!! Not frumpy fat clothes at all. Nice trendy and classy outfits and they have lots of sales.
I also like Catherine's for casual wear. Many of their dresses were kind of frumpy.
Never argue with an idiot. It will bring you down to his level and he’ll win because of experience.

Re: Hellooooo Beautiful Plus Size Ladies!
www.alight.com More along the lines of lane bryant
www.torrid.com Kinda alternative clothes but still very cute and fashionable XL to 4X
www.alloy.com Younger Trendy Clothes from size XS to 3x
www.fashionbug.com If you go to the big big deals forum there is a code up right now for 25 off 75 and they have all types of sizes and styles.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
