Christmas exchange thread... with happy..

Gosh I just read the whole post and find it apalling...I am so sorry for the people who have not received their gifts....

Like someone posted before though.... maybe someone next year who has posted to the boards for awhile should take it over....

I was also thinking maybe it would be a great idea to start it earlier than you guys did.... I know what we do is... at our family christmas party there are 11 children.... my husband has 5 brothers and sisters so they each draw names and we buy for families.... so at the christmas party we draw names so we know almost a year in advance you we are buying for and then we get the great deals....

Also by doing this earlier like maybe september or so, there really isn't any excuse for someone not receiving their packages... Just an idea.....

Just some thoughts, I would have posted under the other posting but man it was way to long for me but I managed to get through all 13 pages....

I agree.. I think it needs to be run by someone who has good feedback and is an active poster... I wish I had paid a little more attention to who was running it, before I signed up.

When I saw her start the Kids Christmas exchange thread I wanted to say something so bad but I knew I probably would have gotten in trouble for it. She basically only posts during the holidays. You try to give people the benefit of a doubt and then something like this happens.

Im so sorry some of you got taken on this, wanted to use another word but dont wann get suspended/banned. I almost signed my DD up for this, now Im glad I didnt. It just makes me sick to see people treat kids this way.

What about doing a kids exchange all year that way the exchangees all ready know a little about there partner. Besides it would be fun at all the holidays, birthdays, or just because. And no one would get confused. just my little opinion. I missed out on this, this year and would have loved doing it.
