Thread: Would paypal email us and ask.....?

My dh and I have an address we use for ebay. Apparently (or it is a fake) we got an email from "paypal" asking us to verify information. (fill in a form with info on name, address, and bank info..). I told him not to. He went to the site and signed in and then updated his information. Do you think this email was legit or a scam? The email looked legit but they said to avoid fraud we had to update or our account would be frozen..blah, blah...

Someone could be pretending to be from Paypal. Did anyone else ever get this?

I was going to post the actual email but I think he deleted it.
